Proyecto Horizonte launches a teenage and new mothers support program

Becoming a mother is a pretty big deal and being a teenage or a first-time mother can be even more of a challenge. With over 30% of the births being teenage births in Bolivia, Proyecto Horizonte has launched a teenage and new mothers support group. The sessions are offered by a nurse of our health center and a psychologist from our community development team. Their aim is to reach out to these women providing support and capacity-building training.

Would you like to help us support teenage mothers in Mineros San Juan, Ushpa-Ushpa? Click here to donate now.

The donation to this project will allow us to continue running these sessions and will be used by our health center for young women who cannot afford pregnancy tests. $3 = 1 pregnancy test!
